Text of posting: From: Rick Clinton <rick@INTELLIPRO.COM> Date: Mon, 17 Oct 2011 13:41:14 -0400 The latest release of MyMathLab (July 2011) incorporates several new accessibility features. Using MyMathLab with JAWS 12 (without the need for custom scripts of any kind) enables selected multiple-choice and free-response problem-types to be read, and interacted with via keyboard controls and math notation input. New instructor features ease identification and selection of screen-readable items from within the MyMathLab item data base. In addition, all MyMathLab videos accompanying texts with copyright 2009 and later include closed captioning. Information about this functionality is available at http://mymathlab.com/accessibility. Though Braille is beyond the present functionality of MyMathLab, we're available to speak directly with anyone requiring detailed information on MyMathLab accessibility, and/or discuss specific student needs. Sincerely, Rick Clinton Publisher, Online Programs Pearson Education (732) 981-0445, x11 rick.clinton@pearson.com
