- George Kerscher and Amy Salmon will demonstrate how a student who is blind using a screen reader can enjoy the many benefits of an EPUB book. They will be demonstrating several of the most popular EPUB reading systems such as RedShelf, Apple Books and Vitalsource Bookshelf using JAWS for Windows, NVDA and VoiceOver. To show the diversity of EPUB for today’s readers, we also will be demonstrating on mobile readers such as Apple Books on an iPhone using VoiceOver.
